About the role

If you have a passion for working with clients to maximise care across a range of clinical areas (acute medical, rehabilitation and community) in a secondary hospital setting this is the role you have been waiting for.

About our team

Our Occupational Therapy team is a small, dynamic team that is well supported by the wider Allied Health and multidisciplinary teams and has close links with regional and national Occupational Therapy networks. As an integral part of the multidisciplinary team you will be working to assess and provide intervention in the inpatient, outpatient and community settings to assist people to remain as functional as possible in their homes and communities and to support inpatient discharge planning.

About you

Qualifications required

  • You will be registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand and hold a current practising certificate.
  • Ideally you will have solid experience in the inpatient health settings.
  • You will be a flexible and enthusiastic clinician, who thrives in a team environment
  • And is focused on delivering the best possible clinical care for clients.

This is a full time fixed term position working 80 hours (1.0 FTE) per fortnight Monday - Friday, We welcome enquiries from those looking for part time opportunities as well. The reason for the fixed term is, to provide parental leave cover.
