An excellent opportunity has arisen at Wairarapa Hospital for a New Graduate Registered Nurse in our AT&R Ward.

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

The primary function of this role is to use the Team Nursing Model to plan, co-ordinate and provide safe competent and individual nursing care and rehabilitation for patients to maximise their health and rehabilitation potential.

This is a permanent part time position working 48 hours per fortnight (0.6 FTE), rostered and rotating shifts.

Our teams plan, fund and provide an extensive range of healthcare services for the community within our hospital, through our primary care partners and other health care providers.

We challenge ourselves to be innovative and bold, while always prioritising quality, safe and improved care to support the Wairarapa to be well.

We are looking for a new graduate registered nurse with enthusiasm, team spirit and a willingness to learn. A real commitment and desire to work with the elderly, as well as rehabilitation or medical experience would be an advantage.
